E-town

Spending a few days in Elizabethtown (aka “E-town”) PA. We’re staying with Anne’s mom at the Masonic Villages there. At 89 she still drives herself to church on Sunday mornings. And we still drive ourselves out for coffee, which is, in its own way, also a high form of worship.

Market Street in E-town has it all: Pretty good chocolate at the Dove factory, great coffee at Evo206, and weak-ass signage at the place for rent next door.

Dove is second only to Hershey in Central PA chocolate sales.
E-town Evo206 Coffee.
Evo206 is at 206 Market Street. The signage is weak, but the coffee is strong.

E-town weak signage.
Why is it “For Rent?” The cutesy spelling of “Ambition” didn’t help, I’m sure.

E-town Yarn Me Baby!
What good is a small-town PA visit without a stop @ the local YarnStore?

A Wenthe-Linde-Korenkiewicz family-reunion dinner last night at Woody’s Crab House in beautiful downtown North East, MD.

Waiting on our crabs. FYI, the photographer

(not pictured) had shrimp.  So sue me.

Love me some great big seafood platters.
